Welcome to my website. I hope you find something that interests you!
R.L. Greene loves to create realistic characters with unforgettable personalities. Of course they invariably turn on him around chapter two and won’t let him have any say about their lives after that. While he’s come to accept the fact that he’s just the guy who gets stuck doing all the typing, he very much resents that he routinely gives life to selfish, inconsiderate people who have no gratitude. Roger believes in things like redemption, reconciliation, and forgiveness so he creates circumstances that force his ungrateful characters get along with each other – whether they like it or not. In the end, he will occasionally admit that his characters told a better story than he ever would have come up with on his own – but not always – because why should they get all the credit?
Since he is ill at ease with noise and all the things that make it, Roger has chosen a rustic lifestyle high in the mountains of southern Colorado. This quasi-mountain man built his modest home with his own two hands, gets his electricity from the sun, his water from a spring, and keeps it all warm with the wood he cuts and splits by hand. The picturesque nearby small town where people are entirely genuine and everyone knows everyone, is the place that renews his spirit.
Roger is finally at the place in life where he can focus on things like writing books and screenplays. His list of projects is daunting but so is his determination to get ‘em done. He would love to see his stories retold on the silver screen, so he continues to submit his work in contests. Stay tuned…
